Sharp Multifunction Printers Receive Security Validation from Keypoint Intelligence

Key Point Intelligence Security Validation for 33 Models in Current Sharp Lineup
Keypoint Intelligence recently conducted a rigorous security penetration test on the current line of Sharp document systems that use the CR5.0 platform and determined that the devices satisfied the requirements to earn the Keypoint Intelligence Security Validation Seal.
As modern workplaces adopt diverse work styles, strong organizational security is more essential than ever. With new vulnerabilities emerging, networked devices like MFPs have become prime targets for cyberattacks, exposing organizations to serious risks and operational disruptions.
The rigorous testing process thoroughly examines MFP firmware and network connections to identify vulnerabilities and assess protective measures. Results confirmed that Sharp document systems equipped with the tested firmware and configured with the recommended settings are well-protected against a wide range of anticipated threats, reinforcing their reliability and security.
